Black History Month at the Hungry Club

February 9, 2022: Dr. Nikitah Okembe-Ra – Professor of Black Studies, University of Nebraska at Omaha. Poet, Researcher, Pan-Africanism, Afrocentric philosophy. Africentric Renaissance Man
February 16, 2022: Dr. Dell Gines Ph.D, CECD, Dr. Dell Gines is a national thought leader in entrepreneurship ecosystem building, a local economic development strategy that leverages entrepreneurship’s power to create local economic growth. His specific focus is on communities of color and economically distressed small rural communities.
February 23, 2022: Ms.Teresa Hunter, Executive Director/CEO Family Housing Advisory Services. Established in 1968, Family Housing Advisory Services’ (FHAS) mission is to improve housing opportunities and eliminate poverty. FHAS is committed to, and compassionate about, finding solutions to address poverty-related problems through housing and financial education and advocacy.
